Introducing the Spanish Supper Club, a small dinner where you get to practice your Spanish out in the real world, over good food, with people at your level.
Here’s how it works
You’ll be seated with up to 5 other Spanish learners close to your level, usually within one level, sometimes two, depending on the group.
No teacher, no lesson plan, no correcting.
Just conversation, connection, and the chance to prove to yourself that you can actually do this.
Why do this
Think of it as practice in between practice.
Your classes give you the tools, this is where you use them.
- A reason to actually leave the house and use the Spanish you’ve been practicing on Zoom, in real life, with real people
- A low-stakes way to build confidence speaking, without a class structure or grade attached
- A chance to meet people outside your usual class time or level
- Something to look forward to between sessions, so Spanish stays part of your week even on weeks you don’t have class
- A break from screens. Real food, real table, real conversation
No grades, no lesson plan, just real conversation with people who are figuring it out right alongside you.
Who this is for
This one’s for Spanish learners who are level A2 and above AND live in the San Diego area.
If you’re past caveman level and can hold a two minute conversation in Spanish without switching to English, you’re ready.

First, you’ll need a level assessment so we can seat you with the right table (unless you’ve had one with us in the last 6 months, in which case you’re good to go).

A couple things to know
You’ll get a confirmation email as soon as you book, and the restaurant details via email the day before the dinner.
Your table date and time will be shown when you check out.
All sales are final, no refunds. So make sure the date works before you book.
