Join Caro, the founder and owner of Pura Buena Onda, for a relaxed but effective journey into mastering tricky Spanish prepositions POR and PARA!
This course is designed to be super practical, introducing one use of POR or PARA each week so you can focus on perfecting each use before moving on to the next one.
What to expect
- Short (but sweet!) video lessons every week, each lasting just 10-15 minutes.
- A whole week to practice that week’s focus—no rush, just steady progress!
- Homework that’s manageable (15-20 minutes/week), designed to reinforce your learning.

Not an issue. We will provide 1 video a week, but you can start the course whenever you want.
Will there be a real teacher?
Yes. Caro is teaching the course & Oscar will be correcting the homework.
How long will I have access to the course content?
Once you’re enrolled, you’ll have access to the lessons for as long as you stay subscribed. You can review the material anytime, so you’ll never feel rushed!
Is the course suitable for beginners?
This course is ideal for students who have reached at least an A2 Spanish level (Beginner 2).
My Spanish is pretty advanced. Will I be bored?
Not if you need some help with Por & Para. This course is truly perfect for almost any level of Spanish student that struggles with these pesky prepositions.
How do I submit my homework?
The homework will be submitted via Patreon comments, and will be personally reviewed by Oscar, one of our expert teachers.
How can I interact with the other students in the course?
You’ll have access to our community chat on Patreon for written discussions. Plus, we’ll have a WhatsApp chat where you can ask questions via audio messages, and interact with other learners.
Can I ask questions if I don’t understand something?
Of course! You can ask questions in the community chats on Patreon or WhatsApp, and Caro and Oscar will be there to help clarify anything you’re unsure about.
How long are the video lessons each week?
Each video lesson is 5-15 minutes long—short, sweet, and easy to follow. You’ll have plenty of time to absorb the content and practice!
What if I’m struggling with the material?
Don’t worry! We’ve designed the course to be manageable and effective. If you’re having trouble, our expert teachers can give you extra tips and feedback during the review process to help you improve.

Yes! We’ll cover all the important uses of both POR and PARA, breaking it down week by week so you can master one use at a time before moving on to the next.
Can I join the course at any time during the year?
Yes! Our launch date will be 4/9/25, but the course is designed so you can start whenever you’re ready. You’ll have access to the full content, and you can catch up on any missed lessons at your own pace.
Do I need any special materials or tools for the course?
No special materials are needed. All you need is internet access to view the lessons and participate in the community. Maybe a notebook to take notes?
Is there a certificate after completing the course?
At the end of the course you will be asked to fill out a survey, which will include an option to have an e-certificate emailed to you.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your Patreon subscription anytime. If you choose to cancel, you’ll still have access to the course content for the remainder of your paid month.
