17 Year Anniversary Party

Join us for our 17th anniversary!

¡Hola a nuestra querida comunidad!

Get ready to fiesta as we celebrate PBO 17th anniversary of Spanish language classes and a beautiful community!

Join us for an in-person cooking demo that will transport you to the heart of Mexico through its rich culinary heritage!

We will learn about the authentic ingredients and techniques with a live demonstration.

Some brave foodies will even have the opportunity to get their hands dirty and make their own delicious creations under the guidance of Gayla, one of our wonderful students!

Gayla has been a serious student of Mexican cuisine since she went to Cuernavaca in 1984 to do Spanish immersion and had the good luck to live with a family of great cooks who introduced her to the joys of the Mexican table.

She has eaten her way around Mexico and has taken classes with Diana Kennedy, Rick Bayless, the Culinary Institute of America in San Antonio, Texas as well as many chefs and home cooks in Mexico.

The depth, breadth and regionality of Mexican cuisine makes it one of the top cuisines in the world.

Indulge in delicious dishes, practice your Spanish, meet some new friends, and toast to many more years of shared experiences!

When: Saturday 9/7/24 – 5:00pm – 8:00pm, pacific time.

*We will be sending the exact address and main gate code to registered participants, via email, the day before the event.

Who: Current PBO students + Winnie, Caro and Octavi.

At this time, we are prioritizing student registrations, as space is limited.

We will not be allowing plus ones until we have given students the opportunity to sign up.

If you sign up but can’t make it, please make sure to cancel your reservation so people on the waitlist can be added to the event.

We appreciate your cooperation as we work to accommodate as many students as possible!

What to have on hand: We will provide the food + water. Feel free to BYOB.
