🌞 Picnic “de traje” – You’re Invited! 🌮

¡Hola, comunidad de PBO!

Craving some real-life connection and delicious food?

We’d love for you to join us this June for a Potluck Picnic!

Bring your favorite dish (along with the recipe in Spanish, if you’d like), enjoy great company, practice your Spanish with fellow students and teachers, and soak up some sunshine in a relaxed, fun setting.

It’s all about community, conversation, and tasty bites!

Don’t worry if you’re not bringing a recipe — your presence is the most important ingredient!

📌 Event Details:

When: Saturday, 6/21/25 | 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm (Pacific Time)

Where: A local park in central San Diego – location will be shared the week of the event ***make sure you come back to the MindBody invite for location

Who: Current PBO students, Carolina, Caro & Winnie — plus any Spanish learners or native speakers you’d like to invite!

*Just send us their full name + email so we can get them registered.

What to bring:

A dish to share (main, side, or dessert, + your own drink)

The recipe in Spanish to display with your dish (optional)

A drink for yourself

Any serving utensils your dish needs

Your own picnic blanket, little table or lawn chairs

Outdoor games or activities — ¡en español, por supuesto!

What we’ll provide:

Plates, napkins, and disposable utensils

Please remember: we’ll be at a park with no electricity or heating options, so dishes that are tasty at room temp or served cold are perfect!

We can’t wait to see you there and share some good food, laughs, and language!
