The PBO Bootcamp is a 90-day challenge that combines daily practice, weekly accountability, and a supportive community to give your Spanish a serious boost.

What is the Bootcamp?
For 90 days straight, you’ll commit to:
Daily Tasks
✅ La Conversación del Día on Facebook
You’ll respond to our daily conversation question every single day (no batching on Sundays—daily means daily!)
💬 Yes, I’ll know if you try to cheat 😉
✅ Engage with at least 1 Instagram post or story
We post mini-lessons, videos & stories — comment/respond daily!
📱 Scroll with purpose!
✅ Speak & listen to Spanish for 20 minutes/day
Possibly with another Bootcamper. Work on your weakness — listening or speaking!
🎧 Some days will be easy, some days you’ll say “¿quéeee?”— and that’s ok!
Weekly Tasks
✅ Attend 1 class each week (13 total)
Classes are non-negotiable during Bootcamp. If you must miss, you’ll make it up the week before/after.
📅 Bootcamp = no excuses. You’ll fit Spanish INTO your life, not around it!
✅ Do the weekly “optional” homework (which won’t be optional during Bootcamp 😉)
📌5 days a week for A1 level students
✅ Watch & respond to 1 YouTube video weekly
✅ Watch & like 1 TikTok video OR check out and like a Patreon post weekly
✅ Complete the weekly accountability survey
If you don’t respond within 24 hours — or miss tasks — you’re officially out.

Monthly Tasks
✅ Attend at least 2 events during the Bootcamp
- Live in San Diego? Plenty of options!
- The 19-Year Anniversary Party on Sat 9/19
- The Tue 10/6 1st ever Spanish Supper Club (levels A2+ – there is a cost associated with this event)
- The Sat 10/10 in-person event (there will be a cost associated with this event and seats are LIMITED – more info TBA)
- The Sat 12/12 in-person event counts, even though it’s 2 days after BC officially ends (more info TBA)
- If you don’t live in San Diego:
- The Fri 11/20 event will be an online event (more info TBA)
- Prefer not to attend 2 events? You can purchase 1-2 extra GROUP classes instead.

How much time does Bootcamp take?
⏳ About 30–40 min/day
⏳ 60–90 min on class days
⏳ 1.5–2 hrs on event days

What’s the cost?

Can anyone join?
✅ Absolutely—all levels welcome!
If you’re brand new and NOT a beginner (meaning you can have a 2+ minute conversation in Spanish, without using English), you’ll need a quick level assessment before Bootcamp starts.
Can I join from anywhere?
YES! Bootcamp is virtual-friendly.
- All tasks can be done online (some are in-person optional)
- Classes are on Zoom
- 1 of the 4 social events will be virtual
(If you’re in San Diego, you can join in-person events. AND if you complete Bootcamp, you’ll get invited to a special Bootcamp Breakfast celebration on Sun, Dec 13! 🎉)
What happens if I miss a task?
Bootcamp is an all-in challenge.
- If you skip a daily or weekly task or fail to check in on the survey — you’re officially out.
- BUT you can still continue the tasks unofficially (and it’ll still help your Spanish).
Remember, it’s called Bootcamp for a reason.
I’ll be your friendly-but-tough drill sergeant 💥 (but secretly your biggest fan).

For 90 days, we’re encouraging you to make the most of everything PBO offers so you can flex all your Spanish muscles…even your “thinking in Spanish” muscle! 🧠💪
We’ve seen it over and over — the students who dive into everything advance way faster than those who just dip a toe in.
This is your chance to go all in, have fun, and watch your Spanish skyrocket! 🚀
If you’re uncomfortable being on some platforms, we suggest you make a temp account under your name and then immediately change it to a made up name for privacy.
As soon as the Bootcamp is over, you can delete it or continue to use it under a made up name.
What if I’m traveling?
Most tasks can be done on the go.
If you miss a class, you can double up the week before/after.
What if my level’s class is full?
Book 30–60 days out! Or add the staff-managed membership. If you can’t get in, you can:
- Take a lower-level class & participate
- Take a higher-level class & just listen
- Or double up the following week
- The faster you sign up for Bootcamp and start scheduling your classes, the easier it will be to get into your preferred class
Can I do Bootcamp if I’ve never taken classes before?
Yes! If you’re NOT a beginner, you’ll just need a quick level assessment first.
